This course covers: Sequences,definition of Z Transform & Examples ,Z Transform of Standard Functions , Properties of Z-Transform .

The Z transform is an important signal-processing tool for analyzing the interaction between signals and systems. You will learn how the poles and zeros of a system tell us whether the system can be both stable and causal, and whether it has a stable and causal inverse system. The properties of Z transform will be discussed along with the region of convergence (ROC) . In mathematics and signal processing, the Z-transform converts a discrete-time signal, which is a sequence of real or complex numbers, into a complex frequency-domain representation. Z transformation is the process of standardization that allows for comparison of scores from disparate distributions.

After the complition of this course learners are able to Understanding the relationship between Z transform and the Fourier transform for discrete-time signals . Understanding the characteristics and properties of Z transform . Ability to compute Z transform and inverse Z transform . Ability to apply Z transform for analyzing linear time invariant (LTI).
