It's common to get to the point where the energy in your writing ebbs and there just doesn't seem to be enough story to write to get you to where you want the narrative to go. Well this short course is what you need. It's all about seeing the potential within your story by accessing these key points - Observation and Participation, Conflict, Character Desire, Character Voice and Setting.

This course starts with the concept of observation and participation and builds from there. In four lessons, each with writing exercises, the themes of conflict, character, dialogue and setting are explored and developed. Each lesson builds from the one before. This is a course which gives you building blocks which you will use every time you write. It doesn't matter whether you are an experienced writer or a beginner, these lessons and exercises are going to help you find ways to make your story irresistible to write.

This course is adapted from a one-day course which I have run. As a creative writing lecturer, novelist and short story writer I have extensive experience in guiding students through the difficult phase of unlocking the story within and finding the tools to help tell it.
