• After completing of this course, students will have an appropriate knowledge on the following issues related to the world politics as: The history and theory of the world politics, which from itself includes such topics as world political system, theoretical schools in the framework of the international researches, main transnational actors of the modern world, transformation of the international relations system, changes on the world political map and grouping of the states according to the different parameters, role and place of the world politics as an academic discipline etc. Furthermore, students will be able to analyze such important processes within world politics, as globalization, integration and democratization etc. also, basic challenges before the international community, which are interrelated with the problems of arms control and security, conflicts, organized crime, terrorism, demography, environment, relations between “Global North” and “Global South”, corruption, money laundering, gender balance. At the same time, students will increase their qualification on the new dimensions of the contemporary international relations and world politics, which are connected with economic, legal, moral and educational aspects, also regulation of such political processes as foreign policy and diplomacy, main aspects of the global governance.

Classifies these challenges. • Using a theoretical framework, discusses the core priorities of national security and foreign policy priorities of the states.
