In this class you will learn how to paint watercolor Iris flowers. We will focus on how to use a reference photo for composition and color, watercolor techniques like wet on wet, wet on dry and we will work on details to make your botanical illustration more realistic!

This class is for beginners and for advanced artists. I will show how to create modern floral painting with watercolors.

At the end of this class, you will have the skills to paint your own painting using reference pictures.

Go through the techniques and decide on a flower which you feel comfortable to paint (Iris or any other simian flower). Plastic palette or plate, 2 cups for water, round paint brushes for watercolor (big, medium and small), paper towel, watercolor block 250gsm cold pressed, HB pencil, eraser.
