This course includes outcomes in both conceptual and executional skills. The generic skills emphasized are written communication, analytical skills, creative thinking processes, problem solving technological literacy, and descriptive skills. Examples of documentaries, movies, TVC's, channel ID’s, and short films will be presented in class, with a breakdown of the storyboard. Out of the box thought process will be taught, to inculcate new and innovative storyboards. This course will teach you everything you need to know about the storyboarding process for film, TVC or animation. You will learn practical skills, including how to draw characters, how to draw in perspective, how to employ camera angles and shots in your scripts, and how to make your shots and scenes flow together.

The course will be able to demonstrate to students the ability to perform storyboarding. Students will be able to understand the different elements used in storyboarding. This course will assist students to understand the psychology of a scene and its nature, and will help students to break down the script into different sections. Students will gain an understanding of the technicalities of storyboarding and dynamics used in all the elements. Students will be able to break any situation and create necessary detailing, and understand each shot, angle and movement given in the script.
