This simulation assesses your ability to perform the following technical tasks: manage Azure identities and governance; deploy and manage storage; deploy and manage Azure compute resources; configure and manage virtual networks; and monitor and backup Azure resources.

Candidates for this exam should have experience implementing, managing, and monitoring the organization's Microsoft Azure environment.

Responsibilities assigned to the role include implementing, managing and monitoring identity networks, governance, storage, compute and virtual networks in a cloud environment, as well as provisioning, scaling, monitoring and tuning resources as needed.

An Azure administrator is often part of a larger team dedicated to implementing an organization's cloud infrastructure.

Candidates for this exam must have at least six months of hands-on experience administering Azure, as well as a solid understanding of core Azure services, workloads, security, and governance. Also, this role must have experience using PowerShell templates, Azure CLI and Azure portal and Azure Resource Manager.

NOTE: Pass score is 700.
