To practice on the instance, you can request for a free Personal Developer Instance from the ServiceNow developer site and exploit features, try different programming languages such as Javascript, Angualrjs and Jelly scripting, REST Integration to raise Events at ServiceNow use at your ease. Also, with an additional note, you would be required to refresh the instance before completion of 10 inactive days, else the instance will be reclaimed.
