I used to think that it was one of the easier ones to learn, yet actually so many children seem to struggle with it.

When my oldest daughter was young, I wondered if she might be mildly dyslexic.

I asked her school if they agreed. They instantly dismissed dyslexia as an excuse for laziness.

I did not have the confidence to push my point further so I decided to do everything I could to help her myself.

Over the coming years I learned everything I could about different, learning styles and learning difficulties. I completed a degree in childcare and education and worked in numerous educational settings.

In 2012 I started a tutoring business. Everything I had learned up to this point influenced how I presented it. Everything I had learned told me that for learning to be effective it had to be inspiring, motivating, interactive. The child needed to be relaxed, feel confident and enjoy the experience. So those were the foundations I used.

Those were the principles that made us so different from so many other tutors. These experiences and influences were what have led us to be nominated for several national business awards and help numerous children learn both confidence and knowledge in maths, English, and the 11+.
