This course is a combination of the best of my Healthcare Project Management (101) and Healthcare Project Management v2.0 (102) courses. The first half of this course provides an introduction to project management terminology and the project life cycle. While the second half of this course will repeat and build off of those concepts, diving deeper into each. The second part of this course also includes assignments and resources to encourage you to further apply your newly-gained knowledge. Because stories are known to improve learning, I've created healthcare project scenarios that we'll follow throughout the entire course to help the information stick! You'll also have an opportunity to create your own clinic profile and apply the information learned to a project unique to your organization.

I was a physical therapist that wore the hat of project manager in my organization for years without knowing what a project manager was. Now that I've formally studied the field, received my certification, and have been a practicing project manager in the healthcare space for years, it's my goal to pass on the 'what-I-wish-I-had-knowns' to my fellow clinicians-turned-project managers/leads. Together we can make a positive difference in the awesome world of healthcare!
