This course takes a look at what is involved in preparing to work magick. It covers the basic steps, framework and principles that are involved. This will offer you the opportunity to use the information directly from this course, or morph and change the information to suit your own style and expression. It can feel a little overwhelming when first starting to set up and work a ritual, this course will ease you in gently allowing you to grow with the processes and feel safe enough to focus on adding your own flair and creativity to make a ritual that is wholey authentic and true to you.

This course explores what magick is, which will help you to formulate what magick means to you. Adding to this is the exploration of magickal attitude along with the 4 basic laws of magick. So not only will you learn how to prepare yourself for ritual, but you will also experience the whole process that goes into the preparation of a ritual, no matter its theme or topic. This includes dedicating and consecrating your space, cleansing your space, marking out your circle physically or imaginarily, casting or pulling up a circle, calling in and welcoming the Elements, the main body of the ritual which includes casting your spells etc., fare-welling the Elements, taking down the circle, and celebrating and grounding by eating and drinking.
