WHAT IS PMP?

PMP (Project Management Professional) is the most reputable project management certification from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA which is equivalently accredited around the world with nearly one million PMP certified professionals.

From Jan 2021 onwards PMP exam pattern has changed, but PMBOK 6 will continue until further notification from PMI even though PMBOK 7 has been released in August 2021. The new pattern of exam is based on PMBOK 6, but with new exam content that is based on three domains – People (42%), Process (50%), and Business Environment (8%) that covers waterfall, agile and hybrid.

• Complete your PMP training (35 PDUs)

• Review the PMP Exam Content Outline

• Review the PMP Handbook

• Review PMBOK 6 Edition, PMBOK 7 Edition (optional), and Agile Practice Guide

• Select a mentor (optional)

• Familiarize with many PMP sample questions

• Use the exam simulator and practice many times until your score is 80% or above

• When you get an 80% score, it shows you can pass the PMP exam with the above target on the first attempt!
