DescriptionThis course provides questions based on the recommendations from OWASPfor each of the following areas: Secure Coding Practice, Web &API. The intent is for developers to show awareness of main challeges in each of these areas so that solutions can be delivered in a more secure manner. This course can also be helpful in demonstrating developer training for those who require appropriate evidence as part of their PCI DSS audit requirements.
The quiz is meant to reinforce the areas outlined in the documents and should be considered a reminder of the current issues facing the industry and the need for best practices. The quiz will cover the top 10 for each of the main areas, asking a combination of True/False or multiple choice questions. It should be noted that this is intended as a learning exercise; the main purpose is to ensure the learner improves their knowledge of the identified areas.
It should also be remembered that although the standard is updated every few years, the gaps and issues it highlights are still relevant in the current technology landscape. All developers should be aware of these potential gaps and threats so that we software can be delivered at the highest quality.
Happy learning.
