Description
This course on how to become a HIGHLY paid and fulfilled online ESL teacher by teaching independently provides a step-by-step series of videos (including complementary supplements) within 10 parts that are specifically designed to erase any confusion you have about how to go solo from the ground floor up as an online ESL teacher, in an extremely down to earth and simple manner. From keyword research and selection to Guerrilla marketing and traffic generation, you’ll no longer be overwhelmed by the thought of going solo as an online ESL teacher after completing all 10 parts of "Your Road To Going Solo" that's brought to you by a dressed down, Teacher Kid Canada.
Inside, you'll be introduced to:
Part 1 - Keyword Research & Selection - This first part begins with an introduction to keyword research and selection. You’ll discover the major role this task plays in relation to identifying the ideal target audience/s for your given niche, along with the meta tags for landing pages within your online ESL teaching related website and YouTube videos.
Part 2 - Web Host & Content Management System - After you’ve selected the name of your online ESL teaching company and have been notified that the corresponding domain (ideally a dot com) is available, then it’s very important to choose a trustworthy and reliable hosting company for your content management system of choice. Further, if you intend to market your online ESL teaching related website inside “The Great Firewall of China”, then you’ll need to be extra careful when making your selection and take other variables into account. Otherwise, your site may take far longer to load within the mainland and that can result in a serious loss of traffic. Rather, your site needs to be lean and mean, no matter where your target audience is logging on from.
Part 3 - Sales Funnel Visualization & Implementation - Even though your initial, online ESL teaching related website has now been set-up (with the integration of your content management system of choice included in your hosting package hopefully), before you can begin to develop it, you must first visualize the different segments of your upcoming sales funnel, in proper order. This will be the path that your visitors must take in order for them to become prospects, then customers. Though, you won’t have any idea in terms of what your overall conversion rate will actually be until you test the different elements of your sales funnel together by driving targeted traffic to its entranceway.
Part 4 - Squeeze Page Development & Optimization - Now that you’ve implemented the sales funnel framework into your online ESL teaching related website, it’s time to focus on the squeeze page. This is where your targeted visitors should first land after entering your domain. The objective is to influence them to book a demo class, while also supplying their most necessary contact information and absolutely nothing on this page should distract them from that outcome. The compelling content which is placed in the proper sequence must trigger them, so they can’t stop from beelining it to your inline form, plugging in their required details and pressing submit. Then, once you have enough squeeze page related data to work with, you can do your best to optimize the conversion rate of its visitors to prospects through testing properly.
Part 5 - Promotional Video Production & Editing - Even after optimizing, you can’t expect to create a highly converting squeeze page without an epic promotional video at the top. It must grab the attention of your target audience at the beginning and their excitement must build until the very end. Immediately afterwards, those viewers who are completely serious about your offer will have no reservations about signing up for your demo class (either paid or free).
Part 6 - Email & Chat Communication - Normally, I don’t speak with anyone (personally) who books a demo class through the booking calendar on my squeeze page until after they’ve already received the 1st autoresponder email that confirms the date and time slot of their kid’s demo, while also notifying them about the class requirements. And communication normally moves forward from there through WeChat so I can qualify them further. It’s crucial to take email and chat communication very seriously and not only craft well-thought-out messages, but also have the necessary ones sent automatically, as your brain, along with fingers can’t be everywhere all the time!
Part 7 - Converting Prospects To Customers - Will your prospects miss out by not ordering a package of lessons from yourself after the completion of their demo classes? You bet they will, so prove that to them early! However, you will need access to a suitable online ESL teaching related classroom first and I happen to use WeChat for most demos since the majority of my prospects are Chinese. Do what I do by giving your prospects something more to look forward to after ordering as well and that’s where a more professional learning management system with advanced features, along with effective class material comes into play. Plus, after you’ve impressed prospects during demos, they can take advantage of a special discount by ordering within 24 hours afterwards, right?
Part 8 - Payment System & Inbound Sales Call Support - Now that you have some prospects approaching the end of your sales funnel, the most critical thing you must remember in relation to accepting payments, is to make the process as convenient as possible for them. And if you’re interested in gaining customers from the mainland of China, then you’d be wise to offer their most preferred methods of payment, which at this time are Alipay, UnionPay and WeChat Pay. Do you know that the majority of Chinese consumers actually call customer service before they share their payment details with a company for the first time? Well, consider this to be true and if you don’t provide inbound sales call support to them as well, then you are assured to lose an extremely uncomfortable number of deals.
Part 9 - Servicing & Customer Renewals - Since you can now accept orders from customers around the world, it’s time for you to get a game plan together in terms of how you’re going to maximize the renewal rate of your customers. It’s far easier keeping existing customers happy enough so they continue to renew, versus attracting new customers to your business. Further, by going above and beyond in terms of servicing, you’re bound to cause extra chatter and will land additional referrals as a result. Wouldn’t that be fulfilling?
Part 10 - Guerrilla Marketing & Traffic Generation - Remembering back to the 1st part, you performed keyword research and selection to help determine who your target audience/s should be. Yet, in order to come to a conclusion, you needed to already have a good understanding about who is most likely to convert from a visitor to customer after arriving at the entranceway of your sales funnel. And you definitely wouldn’t want to disregard those types of people, as you’d never be able to generate a decent enough profit after already investing all the grueling hours of work into your project. So, in this 10th and final part, I will introduce you to an advertising strategy that you can utilize to promote your online ESL teaching related service in a more unconventional manner with no price tag attached.
