This course supports Middle Leaders and managers who have taken on a new team or new responsibility as well as those who wish to reinvigorate their approach.

We, at Mentoring the Middle, are experienced and active Middle Leaders in school. Through our courses we share the benefit of our research, experiences and reading.

Within this course we look at the following topics:

• Identifying and developing a vision for your team,

• Creating a brand for your team,

• Sharing your vision and brand and making it part of the fabric of your everyday experience,

• Getting to know your team quickly,

• Building a team ethos,

• Celebrating your team's achievements and successes,

• Developing personal professional networks within school,

• Developing personal professional networks outside school.

The course is delivered in bite-size chunks and is designed to fit around a busy lifestyle. Each section finishes with a guided activity to help learners put the new ideas in action. Resources to support the activities and lectures are provided, these are tried and tested resources which we have personally used in our leadership roles. Everything that we discuss and share in the lectures, activities and resources are the product of our reading, our research and our first-hand experience.
