The AZ-104 exam replaces the AZ-103 exam, which will be retired on August 31, 2020. This exam is part of Microsoft’s role-based certification program. Candidates who pass the AZ-104 exam will earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
A typical Azure Administrator implements, manages, and monitors identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment. An Azure Administrator can also provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate.

Prerequisites
According to Microsoft, candidates for the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator exam should have at least six months of hands-on experience administering Azure, along with a strong understanding of core Azure services, Azure workloads, security, and governance. In addition, this role should have experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure portal, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
Exam Format
In order to know the difficulty level, one should know the basic details of the exam.
So, the Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) exam consists of 40-60 questions.
Also, the types of questions that candidates can face in the exam include scenario-based single answer questions, multiple-choice questions, arrange in the correct sequence type questions, drag & drop questions, mark review, drag, and drop, etc.
However, to pass the exam, a candidate has to score a minimum of 700 or more.
Furthermore, to apply for the exam, the examination fee is $165 USD including taxes.
