In this course we will go over 6 different limited color palettes in 3 mediums. The zorn palette, the optimal palette, the cool palette, the warm palette, the chroma palette, the optimal palette, and the monochromatic palette will all be taught in the course. The art styles and subjects that apply to each of the limited color palettes best are discussed as well as the intensity of the palettes and the mood the invoke. Each of the 6 color palettes are taught in all 3 mediums those being colored pencil, markers, and watercolor paints. How to best use each medium is discussed in terms of mixing blending and shading. Light and applicable color theory is taught when it is topical and necessary for the rest of the course. All supplies used are linked below each video in case you'd like to create the color wheels with the same supplies I did, and if you're of the opposite opinion Ialso teach how to select your own colors for each palette with supplies you have at home.
