Igained my experience as a research assistant at the universities of Oxford and Edinburgh, and then set up a research consulting company, helping over a 100 individuals and institutions to develop and conduct their research studies. Ihave also taught qualitative research methods at the University of Edinburgh.

In this course, my aim is to teach you everything Iknow about interviews - both the theory, including different types of interviews and interview questions, and practice - how to develop a good interview guide, how to act during the interview, how to elicit questions, how to start and end the interview, how to transcribe the interview, what to do with the interview data...

While doing so, Ialso point to specific sources in the literature, so that you can find them and support your arguments with academic references.
