There are three sets of model questions to help you to prepare for Terraform associate certification exam. The question set-1 was prepared based on the exam blueprint. The original exam review guide, from HashiCorp, was used to identify the areas to form the questions. On the other hand, the questions on set-2 and set-3 are tough and they are beyond the exam blueprint. However, trying all sets of question will definitely improve the chance of clearing the certification. Moreover, the explanation for each questions were written with help of Terraform's official documentation.

The questions on the real exam will be the same model as I noticed and they are usually bit easier than the question in the set-2 and set-3. Although these model questions will surely assist you to prepare for the examination, you still have to do your homework to get hands-on experience in Terraform and read important parts in the official documentation based on the exam blueprint. The exam question usually will not be specific to any terraform external provider.

You have to focus more on the basics in Terraform, modules, the differences among the Terraform products, variables, built-in functions, terraform features etc.

Finally, I strongly recommend to read the explanation given for each question and go to the specific part of the documentation to read more on that specific area where the explanation was taken from. This will help you to become perfect in Terraform not just only for the examination but also for using Terraform effectively anywhere you use Terraform.
