Having clients who want to work with you is a great honour. But to make sure that the process is beneficial to both of you can take a lot of know-how and skill.

In many cases, clients tend to self-diagnose their challenges and then brief you on the desired deliverable creating two main issues:

1. They can end up treating the whole process and you as a transaction (like ordering a pizza) and;

2. If they incorrectly diagnosed the challenge, they will still blame you for the lack of results or success.

So what is the answer?

Getting very good at working with the Client Briefs and helping clients either validate their self-diagnosed challenges or interpret them into more optimal solutions and recommendations.

That can be the difference between a successful design project and one that goes around in circles for countless revisions, like you will see from my examples.

Yup – those designers are probably designing directly from a Client Brief.

You need to have great soft skills to decipher what is being requested and why, and then reformulate it if needed into the right challenge/s to be solved, which is what I will teach you in this class.
