Exploring SketchUp Pro contains a detailed explanation of all Major Concepts, Tools, and Commands of SketchUp Pro software and their applications to solve design problems.
About SketchUp
SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, film and video game design. It is available as a web-based application, SketchUp Free, and a paid version with additional functionality, SketchUp Pro.
SketchUp is owned by Trimble Inc mapping surveying and navigation equipment company. There is an online library of free model assemblies (e.g. windows, doors, automobiles), 3D Warehouse, to which users may contribute models. The program includes drawing layout functionality, allows surface rendering in variable "styles", supports third-party "plug-in" programs hosted on a site called Extension Warehouse to provide other capabilities (e.g. near photo-realistic rendering) and enables placement of its models within Google Earth.
In this course, special emphasis have been laid on industrial applications and usage of SketchUp tools so that it serves beginners as well as professionals to understand the functions these tools and their applications in the drawing. After learning this course, the user will be able to use SketchUp Pro to create a design project. In this course, you will do some major activities to use apply the tools learned in the software. By the end of the course, you will be create an architectural project, use various tools and concepts in the software to manage the software, and will enhance your skills in the software. This course consists of knowing the Interface, Editing tools, Sandbox, tools, Interoperability, Use of Solid Modelling tools, Application of 3D Warehouse, Use of Camera tools, Manipulate Views, and use Advance tools to enhance your expertise in the software.
