Drawing dogs is a great hobby and a great way to have fun with your friends and family. Dogs are our beloved friends in life. Agood dog drawing can be a gift for a friend or family member, and with some imagination you can even use these skills to make dog cartoons or even animations.

These skills all start with a sketch. First we have to learn how to break down our dogs into simple proportions which can be easily represented with our pencil strokes. Then we can refine our sketches into nice line drawings. After repeating this process several times you should be able to notice the common features of all dogs, and it will get easier with time. You might even be able to start drawing dogs from your imagination.
