The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Routing and Switching exam will be taken over the Internet, at any time and from any location.

The exam consists of 90-110 multiple choice or true/false questions. The exam is time-limited to 120 minutes.

The Exam Code a CCIE, is Available on Person Vue Testing Center.

Candidates must have 80% correct answers to pass the exam and become certified.

Available Language Exam: English, Japanese

Immediately after completing the exam, you will be informed of your score and of your pass/fail status.

If you fail, or want to improve your score, you can take the exam one more time. The best result of the two attempts will count.

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE Routing and Switching) certifies the skills required of expert-level network engineers to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex, converged network infrastructure.

Prerequisites:

There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. Other professional certifications or training courses are not required. Instead, candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. You are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exam blueprints and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification.
