DescriptionHaving clarified your brief, created a mood board and then evaluated and surveyed your space you are now ready to Design Your Space.
Your home needs to fit your needs, reflecting your personality and lifestyle. Then it is important to recognise where to best place your room spaces. And don't forget that you are designing for the future so flexibility for this growth or downsize of family size needs to be taken into account. This can affect the way you use the home for work and leisure and also the way you entertain. Comfort and aesthetics will aways need to be supported with a layout that supports the activities inclusive of storage.
In this course, Step 3 of a 10 step process, you will be guided through the interior design process and learn how to plan and accommodate for the various household activities. You will also learn how to establish good connection between spaces. This entails zoning your home into room spaces with good circulation between the spaces while establishing a layout that accommodates all of your spatial requirements. Step 3 is a valuable method of assessing the overall space and how it can best work to accommodate your lifestyle.
