This course is designed to help you either brush up on your IT skills or learn to become an IT Pro! This course may be for you if you have an interest in computers, but do not want to go to college to learn about VMware. You may wonder, what is VMware? VMware is a virtualization technology company that companies use to help with their infrastructure. Picture this, you have a server and can install VMware on this server. You can setup multiple virtual machines on this server and can also remotely manage all of the virtual machines. So instead of buying multiple computers or servers, you can buy one server and setup virtual servers or machines on one server! This can be a huge cost saver for companies! Also if a virtual machine were to go down, you could remote into the VMware esxi and power the virtual machine back on. This saves time and money because you wouldn't have to have someone physically there to turn the machine back on. Throughout my course, I will take you through hands on labs such as: Setting up VMware, vSphere, Servers, Networking, Storage, and more! My goal is to walk you through the basics of VMware to get a better understanding of how VMware works.
