Candidates for this exam should have foundational knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. The exam is intended for candidates who are just beginning to work with cloud-based solutions and services or are new to Azure.

Azure Fundamentals exam is an opportunity to prove knowledge of cloud concepts, Azure services, Azure workloads, security and privacy in Azure, as well as Azure pricing and support. Candidates should be familiar with the general technology concepts, including concepts of networking, storage, compute, application support, and application development.

Azure Fundamentals can be used to prepare for other Azure role-based or specialty certifications, but it is not a prerequisite for any of them.

This exam measures your ability to describe the following: cloud concepts; Azure architecture and services; and Azure management and governance.

These practice exams might help you determine your readiness for the AZ-900 exam by putting your knowledge to the test. You can perform extra research in that subject if you discover something you don't know. This course is based on the material from my video course AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Exam Prep In One Day, although it is not necessary to have taken it. Try to pass these timed tests if all you want to do is test your knowledge.

The largest cloud platform with the quickest growth is still Microsoft Azure. There are still open positions in the cloud computing industry, and firms' top challenge is hiring suitable candidates.

This would be a wonderful starting place for you to enter the cloud computing world if you wanted to shift careers.
