DescriptionThis credential helps organizations identify and develop talent with the skills essential to implementing cloud projects. Achieving AWS Advanced Networking - Specialty certification validates expertise in designing and maintaining network architecture for all AWS services.
The AWS Advanced Networking - Specialty certification is intended for people who perform complex network tasks with five years of hands-on experience in the architecture and implementation of network solutions. This exam requires the following skills:
Work experience using AWS technology, AWS security best practices, AWS storage options and their underlying consistency models, as well as the nuances of AWS networking and how they relate to integration AWS services.
Knowledge of advanced network architectures and interconnect options [eg IP VPN, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)].
Good knowledge of script development and automation tools. This should include the design, implementation, and optimization of the following: routing architectures (including static and dynamic), multi-region solutions for a global business, highly available connectivity solutions (for example, AWS Direct Connect , VPN).
Knowledge of CIDR and subnets (IPv4 and IPv6), challenges of transitioning to IPv6 and generic solutions for network security functions including AWS WAF, intrusion detection systems (IDS), security systems Intrusion Prevention (IPS), DDoS Protection and Denial of Service Economic (EDoS).
To earn this certification, you must pass the AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty exam (ANS-C00). The exam consists of a combination of two question formats: multiple choice and multiple answer.
