Video description
Learn processes to create new Vintage Tintype images using
inkjet emulsion transfers. You will learn several ways to age metal
to create unique photographic prints by using DASS SuperSauce™ to
transfer pigment inkjet prints to the aged metal. The images are
reminiscent of photographic processes of the late 1800’s including
tintypes, cyanotypes, and ambrotypes. These digital tools expand
the vocabulary of the artist and photographer, and allow them to
either replicate these classic images, or leverage the techniques
with modern compositions to create unique, one of a kind
works.
