This course will help you as a leader of your organization to bridge the costly and wasteful gap between strategy design and delivery.
You will learn how external and internal factors impact the organizations’ capability to implement strategies. You will understand Brightline’s 10 Guiding Principles and see how these can help bridge the strategy-implementation gap based on real-world examples from the profit-, non-profit- and government sectors. We bring you interviews from global leaders and experts to share their experiences and examples in strategy implementation. You will also analyze a fictional case and create a strategic action plan following the Brightline’s 10 Guiding Principles.
After completing this course, you will comprehend how the 10 Guiding Principles can address and resolve your organization’s challenges to successfully achieve its strategic goals.

When will I have access to the lectures and assignments?
Access to lectures and assignments depends on your type of enrollment. If you take a course in audit mode, you will be able to see most course materials for free. To access graded assignments and to earn a Certificate, you will need to purchase the Certificate experience, during or after your audit. If you don't see the audit option:

This course will best serve individuals who are or have been responsible for strategy implementation within a large-scale organization. Having a firm understanding and real-world experience as to how organizations manage people, resources and time in strategic initiatives, will greatly benefit you.

Does this course teach a specific framework?
No. Brightline does not prescribe a specific framework to implement the designed strategy. This course offers a set of guiding principles that overarch the use of any desired methodology or framework.
How long does it take to complete this course?
The course is self-paced but structured to be 5 weeks in length, requiring about 2-3 hours per week.
Does this course offer PMI professional development units (PDUs)?
Yes! After completing this course, you can claim a total of 20 or 19 PDUs, depending on your certification level. After successfully completing the final assignment you will receive a code to submit to Continuing Certification Renewal System (CCRS).
